How to compare terminal assortment kits beyond total piece count
The total number of pieces is only a starting point for comparing terminal kits. A useful comparison shows which models are included, how many of each you receive and whether those quantities match your purchasing list.

Create a contents reconciliation
| Check | Information to request |
|---|---|
| Each compartment | Record the model, stated size and piece count. Ask for the contents list if the image is unreadable. |
| Total | Add the individual counts and compare them with the advertised total. Resolve any difference before ordering. |
| Useful assortment | Mark which sizes you actually need. Treat unwanted sizes as surplus rather than assuming equal usefulness. |
| Replacement stock | Ask whether individual refill packs are available and whether their model identifiers match the kit list. |
Before approving the purchase
Worked example, not a catalog offer: a kit containing four sizes at 50 pieces each totals 200 pieces. It does not provide 200 pieces of every size. If your job needs 80 of one size, the other compartments do not make up that shortage.
What to send next
Keep the kit code, contents list and packaging photo together. Confirm whether one selling unit means one complete kit and whether a tool is included or ordered separately.
