What to send for a freight and shipping-document quotation
A product quotation and a freight quotation answer different questions. To compare shipping offers, start from the same order contents and destination, then ask what each quoted amount includes. A low freight figure is incomplete if the destination charges or service scope are unclear.

Give the quotation a clear boundary
| Check | Information to request |
|---|---|
| Destination | Provide country and postcode plus any delivery restrictions relevant to the consignee address. |
| Order and packing | Identify the final SKU list and quantities. Request packed carton count, dimensions and weights when available. |
| Service and terms | Ask for the proposed transport service, delivery terms, included legs and any separately payable charges. |
| Documents | List the invoice, packing list and other documents your broker or importer requires; confirm availability before approval. |
Before approving the purchase
Do not assume duties, taxes or local clearance are included in a catalog price. Ask the supplier and your destination representative to identify responsibilities and amounts where known. An estimated transit time is not a confirmed dispatch or delivery commitment.
What to send next
Compare itemised product and freight totals under the same scope. Confirm price and payment method by email before paying; submitting the website request does not collect online payment.
