OEM packaging and sample approval before a bulk order
An OEM request needs an agreed scope: product, mark, label, packaging, kit arrangement or another defined change. Separate what must change from what must remain identical to the approved product. A logo file alone is not a production instruction.

| Check | Information to request |
|---|---|
| Scope | List model, quantity and every requested change. Identify unchanged technical requirements separately. |
| Artwork | Provide the approved file version, dimensions, placement, colours and language. State who can authorise revisions. |
| Packaging | Define selling-unit contents, label text, packing layout and required carton information. Ask for a layout proof. |
| Sample acceptance | Record sample identity, date, accepted features and corrections. Confirm whether production may start only after written approval. |
Before approving the purchase
The current OEM starting quantity is 500 selling units per SKU. Custom work, costs and final pricing need confirmation; do not assume the threshold includes every printing or packaging operation. Request a revised quotation when scope changes.
What to send next
Retain the accepted sample record and artwork version with the final order. Have the supplier acknowledge the same references, and agree how any proposed material, layout or colour substitution will be approved.
